Big Bark Tree Taming is based out of the middle of nowhere, which just so happens to put us in a great spot to service our Maynard friends.

When people hear that you live in central MN all they can picture is flat fields of corn, but our area is far more than that. Maynard has wonderful neighborhood streets, small town feeling, and the classic Minnesota nice culture, all while being covered by a beautiful mature tree canopy!

We have designed our equipment fleet and dialed in our skills to fit into this specific area. For example, we use a stump grinder attached to a small tractor instead of a dedicated stump grinding machine. Most yards in Maynard are spacious and open, allowing us to navigate the larger machine around. The tractor has both a bucket and a stump grinder, so as soon as the stumps are gone we can turn it around and use the bucket to clean up, saving us time and you money. While that is one specific example, the rest of our equipment is thought of in the same way, dialed in for our area!

We also train on and learn about the trees you most commonly find in Maynard. One of the most common trees lining the streets is the Ash. There are specific cuts to make to ensure tree health and fight off the Emerald Ash Borer and different types of climbing gear to better move around ash trees with their wide crown.
